The apprenticeship program is initiated in response to the practical need to train prospective backstage practitioners in industry-seasoned conditions. In collaboration with a carefully selected group of partners, we prep our trainees with crash courses, place them in projects and positions compatible with their professional interests and levels of experience, and mentor them throughout the internship.

Our main industry partners include:

- 好戏 (an independent production company sepcialized in producing original Chinese plays);

- Roar & Fury (a playreading festival showcasing sinophone playwrights and an international team);

- Shanghai Dramatic Arts Centre (the biggest theatre in Shanghai producing large scale plays and musicals);

- Performance Infinity (a cross-cultural production company specialize in touring shows).
